INTRODUCTION Man's body and his mind, and his physical and mental well-being (or disease) are all products of the interactions between his heredity and the environments he encounters in the course of his life. Neither human heredity nor the environment is constant. Except for identical twins and other identical multiple births, probably no two human beings have identical genes. No two persons are exposed to quite the same sequence of environments.
