The old saying goes: ‘nothing is certain except death and taxes.’ This book is a series of essays about the certainty of death and what it’s like after death. Moreso, why we should be concerned about it, i.e., consequences, and what we can do about it – choices. I can say, ‘let the facts show us the truth,’ but I also see every day that the exact same ‘facts’ are seen by everyone, but people come to entirely opposite conclusions anyway, e.g., January 6, 2021. So even the most objective facts can lead to subjective understanding (or misunderstanding). My hope and purpose is to show the facts as best I can and let you, the reader, come to your own conclusions, even while I express my own understanding of what the facts show us.
