Description
Big ascetics & priests say that the mind wanders; it is the reason for worldly wandering; steady the mind; if one controls the mind then everything will be sorted. But in reality mind is not at fault. Chit (subtle component of vision and knowledge in the inner functioning instrument called antahkaran) has become impure & it is the Chit that keeps on wandering. Mind cannot go out of the body. Whereas Chit wanders inside as well as outside the body. As long as Chit is impure it will keep on wandering. Why does the Chit wander? Because it is in search of eternal happiness. Presently, the Chit is attaining happiness from temporary things, therefore the happiness which it derives is also temporary & hence Chit is never at rest. Chit is called King of the body. Every act should be in presence of Chit. If Chit becomes pure then it stays in the Self & stops wandering. This edition of Dadavani unfolds scientific understanding with respect to reasons & consequences of steadying the Chit.
