Excerpt: A funeral service for bidding farewell to the late Han Duk Su, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryun) who was deputy to the Supreme People?s Assembly of the Democratic People?s Republic of Korea and a twice Labor Hero of the D.P.R.K., was solemnly conducted as a Chongryun funeral service at the Korean Cultural Hall in Tokyo on March 3. Mr. Han Duk Su died of pneumonia on Feb. 21, 2001 in Tokyo at the age of 94.
