Excerpt
Excerpt: ?We have made every possible effort to combat world terrorism. As part of it we have decided to sign the ?International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism,? an important instrument of international anti-terrorism struggle. We have also decided to accede to the ?International Convention Against the Taking of Hostages.? A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the D.P.R.K. was quoted by the Korean Central News Agency on November 3 as saying. Reiterating that Pyongyang is opposed to all forms of terrorism and to whatever aid to it, the spokesman added: ?This means that the D.P.R.K. has basically acceded to all the major existing international anti-terrorism conventions. We will make consistent efforts to fight terrorism in the future, too.?
