Introduction: This work is the continuation of calculations of the thermodynamic properties of bromo- and iodomethanes 111. For this purpose, a systematic literature survey complete up to 1976 was carried out on vibrational frequencies, structural parameters and enthalpies of formation of mixed halomethanes, BraIb(X=H, F, Cl). Out of forty seven compounds of this type the vibrational frequencies were available for only twenty one compounds. The structural data and gaseous enthalpies of formation at 298.15 E were available for very few compounds. Hence we had to estimate them for most of the compounds in order to calculate their thermodynamic properties.
