Purpose and Scope: This is the forty-fourth publication in a series of quarterly reports that measures changes in U.S. imports, exports, and employment. These data are presented in terms of a commodity classification based on the 1987 Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Manual. All publications issued before 1990 were on a 1972/ 77 SIC basis.
