Pakistan Student Association

The Pakistan Student Association or PSA is a student union of Pakistani students within and outside of Pakistan.

The Pakistan Student Association was established in 1947 by various college and university students across Pakistan, however it wasn't until the 1980s that the association begin to develop and grow. Due to the large number of students the association began to represent the student body of Pakistan. Today the organisation works for the betterment of students across Pakistan.

2007 anti-government protests

Many anti-government protests were formed by smaller associations in various colleges and universities across Pakistan.

The Pakistan Students Associations of 53 universities in 20 countries including Sri Lanka, Kyrgyz Republic, Nepal and Bangladesh have joined together to form PSAI. Each organizes social, cultural, recreational, and educational activities on its own campus to promote Pakistani culture, unity and national interests. Honorable Engr, Doctor Hafiz Faizan Ahmed was elected as the combined president of all the Pakistani student associations of the world.
