Throughout history, those who were at the forefront of making this world a better place have been oppressed. Today is no different. A radio signal is traced from outer space by SETI. The story now heads in an unexpected direction. This narrative is serious, not heavy and has a novel mix of technology, philosophy and ideology to suit readers of all ages. The singular feature of the book unravels as the soft and gentle mannerisms underlying the basic nature of the aliens come to light in the later chapters...
It was 7th August 2011, and 10.55 pm. Greg, one of Seth’s staff members who was about to pour a cup of coffee for him, heard an unusual beep coming from his monitor. It was pulsating on the monitor repeatedly at regular intervals. He went back to his seat immediately; diverted his concentration fully on it and realized that may be the sign of SETI’s dream coming through. .... He said “As human beings, we should respect each other more than anything. Now I could visualize the damage we were doing to the moon people’s society with more and more of our influence and interference. Dooda’s speech was an eye opener to me in the matter of respecting each other’s belief system on which human societies are built. Everybody should realize the amount of influence that a belief system can have on the structure of a human society. Belief systems influence the architecture of our buildings, the food we eat, legal systems we follow, our customs, rituals we observe and how we behave”. ...

Standing frail, she diffused her smell far and wide. Not a man who was not attracted to this beauty of fairies. Not a man who didn’t wish to appropriate her for self. But her misty eyes were still poignant for love. For which vulnerability, the men staged duals a plenty. Yet she remained Virgin, for none had the limbs enough. The luxury of choice she didn't have, But her heart plotted a rebel nevertheless. An evening clouded the Sun of the West. When the sounds of prayer were sent in the air with smell. But the dog the men are, they heard only smell. And she remained Virgin, for none had the ears enough. In the morning of the sun after an endless night of hope. She dreamt of a prince of valor, chivalry and a lovely soul. He came to rescue her from the grip of darkness. And embraced her in his arms with love and dearness. Alas! Her dream broke for it was a day-dream in the Sun. And she remained Virgin, for had she not the eyes enough. . Never did she like the shabby wires inside her head. And gave all credit to her heart, eyes, face and smell. Finally, she turned to her mind in despair for help. And the a...

This book is an introspective look at the influence war, love and religion has on man.
I have come to believe: what it is to be a man is not something rigid. Every generation has its war and every thousand has its God. For every new generation, babies are born from union and raised in every variation. The boy becomes man by culture, tradition, religion or war. Some men become so by choice and some do not live to become men at all. These men may grow and progress through life yet find themselves trapped in the shadows listlessly searching for something they cannot even name....

In this essay, I am going to present historical artifacts of a certain geometrical symbol that is known in contemporary history as the Flower of Life. Origin of the symbol is in the ancient Mesopotamia and it dates back to the 2nd millennium BC or earlier. I have documented the usage of the symbol roughly from 1600 BC to 1600 AD. The reader of this document is expected to be familiar with basics of the Flower of Life geometry1. Elementary knowledge of the ancient Near East history and history of mathematics is helpful. Knowledge of visual arts, geometry, and comparative religion studies are also useful. I hope my independent research provides a valuable resource for people to do further investigation in the topic....

This book represents a journey through the world through meditation.
This book represents a constructive criticism to an increasingly decadent world.
This Volume 1 of Part II considers the factors that make science progress. It lays out the differences between normal science and pseudoscience by showing the importance of the scientific method in the advancement of science. It introduces the concept of Truth in science by raising the point that even though truth is based on the scientific method, can science be true? Can it depict reality? The author focuses on modern science, which, he thinks, was born thanks to the Scientific Revolution which started with Galileo Galilei and led to the Industrial Revolution. The impacts of the latter is analyzed in light modernism, modernization, and modernity, all three linked to scientific progress. The book also talks about the Newtonian scientific leap – by analyzing particularly the then social and political fabrics of England – and Albert Einstein by showing how he changed history. According to the author, our very physical world can help us understand scientific progress. So, he explains, among other things, the structure of atoms and molecules, the role of physics in the understanding of our universe, Quantum Mechanics, and the importanc...
Science is often distinguished from other domains of human culture by its progressive nature: in contrast to art, religion, philosophy, morality, and politics, there exist clear standards or normative criteria for identifying improvements and advances in science. However, the traditional cumulative view of scientific knowledge was effectively challenged by many philosophers of science in the 1960s and the 1970s, and thereby the notion of progress was also questioned in the field of science. Debates on the normative concept of progress are at the same time concerned with axiological questions about the aims and goals of science. The task of philosophical analysis is to consider alternative answers to the question: What is meant by progress in science? This conceptual question can then be complemented by the methodological question: How can we recognize progressive developments in science? Relative to a definition of progress and an account of its best indicators, one may then study the factual question: To what extent, and in which respects, is science progressive? What is driving the dynamism of science? Why are science and man inse...

It is said by none other than, Jesus, that we are the sheep. Interestingly, a first born sheep is called a Firstling. With this I call you back to whom it was that Abel killed, it was in fact—the firstlings. So if we are the sheep, and a firstborn sheep is called a firstling, then it only stands to reason that it was, Kane (original Sumerian spelling), who was attacked by Abel....
If Mahabharata's Bhagvad-Gita is taken as a philosophical guide, Ramayana's Sundara Kãnda is sought for spiritual solace. What is more, many believe that reading Sundara Kãnda or hearing it recited would remove all hurdles and usher in good tidings! Well miracles apart, it's in the nature of Sundara Kãnda to inculcate fortitude and generate hope in one and all. After all, isn't it a depiction of how Hanuman goes about his errand against all odds! Again, won't it portray how Seetha, on the verge of selfimmolation, overcomes despair to see life in a new light? Besides, how Hanuman's Odyssey paves the way for Rama to rescue his kidnapped wife! One is bound to be charmed by the rhythm of the verse and the flow of the narrative in this sloka to sloka transcreation of Valmiki's adi kavya - the foremost poetical composition in the world. After all, it was the saga of Rama that inspired Valmiki the barbarian to spiritualize the same as Ramayana in classical Sanskrit!...

«Secrets of Solomon» is a book easy to read, full of quotations from ancient and contemporary sages: Publilius Syrus, Seneca, Marquês de Maricá, John C. Maxwell, Steven K. Scott, T. Harv Eker, among others. The book was inspired by Proverbs of Solomon, who is considered by many as the wisest and richest king of all time. After studying the life and work of King Solomon, and the reason for his great wisdom and wealth, the author gives to know the 12 secrets of Solomon to success. These secrets will transform your life as they did with many people throughout History, if you put them into practice. Learn from the wise and you will become one. As a result, you will experience prosperity in all areas of your life....
What is the secret of one of the most powerful men who ever lived? Solomon, son of King David, was the third king of Israel and lived during the tenth century BC. He became famous because of his great wisdom and wealth, higher than any other king on earth who lived before and after him. His reign was long (about 40 years), full of peace and prosperity. And even without war, he received the voluntary tribute of all neighboring kingdoms (according to some chronologies, 971-931 BC). Today, we studied the route and the history of all those who achieve success, regardless of their area of expertise. And we can learn about their methods and strategies that led them to achieve success. However, I consider fundamental: study the life and work of one of the most successful men ever.Harv Eker in his book "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" reveals that when he was in a particularly difficult time, received the following advice that changed his life: "If you thought the way rich people do and did what rich people do, do you believe you ...

The book is mostly in a running dialogue form, which is always a prerequisite of a quest-full ‘journey’
The more i learn, more i become aware of my ignorance Awareness of ignorance is wisdom
there are ten chapters, however the book is in running dialogue form so segregating it into chapters would be inappropriate!
If passing through youth was like crossing the mirage of life for Chandra and Nithya, it proved to be chasing the mirage of love for Sathya and Prema though for plain Vasavi, Chandra's pitiable sibling, it was the end of the road. As life brings Chandra, who suffers from an inferiority complex for his perceived ugliness, and Nithya, who was bogged down being jilted by Vasu, together, they script their fate of fulfillment. And as poetic justice would have it, Sathya, who caused Prema's heart burn, himself was led down the garden path by Kala, doing a "Sathya on Sathya". Just not that, life has in store just deserts for Vasu owing to Nithya's retribution as he tries to stalk her. Besides, after many a fictional twist and turn, the way the story ends, challenges the perception that fact is stranger than fiction. ...
As if all this was not enough for his tender psyche to cope up with, he had to contend with the sternness of the paternal strictness. Thus, it was only time before the seeds of alienation towards his father were sown in his impressionable mind. But the support he got from his sister and the solace he felt in his mother’s lap helped soothe his ruffled feelings a little. In time, he reached the threshold of youth, but couldn’t cross the despair of adolescence. Oblivious of the possibilities of life, man goes through his journey of disarray, in the itinerary of the past, chasing the mirages of malady even amidst the sands of hope. And that despairs him forever. Into his puberty, as his biology induced in him sexual curiosity, owing to his ungainliness, his youthful urge for reciprocity remained unfulfilled. Being naïve to the feminine nuances, his eyes couldn’t comprehend the emanations of their indifference. When in dismay, as he turned to the mirror for a clue, the reflections of his self-doubts stared him in his face. Yet, goaded by desire, he ogled women but to no avail. And as he went back to the mirror to reassess h...

Men born into this world cannot become truly humane without learning. So called learning is not something estranged or distinct. Only, it is just for a father to be benevolent, a son faithful, the ruled loyal, with propriety between spouses, love between brothers, trust between friends and respect for the elders. In daily lives, all work should be treated with its own worth and a man must not mind with the mysterious to obtain the eccentric. However, a man who is not learnt has a heart that is stagnant because his perspective is limited. He must read, and then after considering the truth in those lines and enlightening the path of learning, it is possible to realise that taking the path is virtuous and accomplishing it brings justice to actions. Men nowadays do not know that learning exists in their daily lives and believe that it is intangibly high and far, difficult to grasp. Likewise, learning is left to the great men and is given up by the common people. How pitiful this is! When I was at the south of Haesan 해산 海山, one or two students came and asked of learning. Although I was embarrassed to be worthy of a teacher,...

PROLOGUE 1. The purpose of this discourse is to make assumptions, provide generalized statements and explanations based on facts, raise awareness and with some imagination provide a thoretical concept for an abstract direction. 2. The manifesto is a selective aggregate of capitalism, socialism and communism. It adheres to utilitarianism while recognizing the human condition. The requirement of some form of rules and regulations are generally agreed as necessary. However, the term “government” in this manifesto refers to the people and not a disparate entity. 3. The planet is ecologically and environmentally sagging under the weight of the humanity’s footprint. Therefore, a proposal of fundamental adjustments, including the redistribution of the human populous with disregard to the axiological, is necessary for sustainability. 4. There is a substantial economic and literary contrast amongst the people of the world due to the restrictions imposed on the freedom of movement. One of the objectives is to propose an egalitarian alternative to eliminate this disparity. 5. Establishment of interdependence rather than independence albe...

What is Philosophy? Is it the exclusive domain of those who dream in abstract? Or is it the manifestation of the struggle of those who practice in material? Does it originate in the minds of professors like a Ganges flowing out from the hair-locks of "Lord" Shiva? Or is it rustic and puerile, evolving into maturity through the experiences of common men. I started writing philosophy without actually knowing that I was writing one. To start with, it was an outlet to project my frustration in the form of writings. Pretty often, it carried abuses hurled at none in particular, but at the system through its agents. But I don’t know when those ramblings started getting matured into Philosophy and all puerility and abuses purified themselves on the way – a Ganges doesn’t become pure by its origin but by the treatment people give to it on its way. In my book “Writings @ Ankur Mutreja”, I included a section on my personal philosophy and thought nobody would be interested in reading it. But, fortunately, I have found some kind-hearted people, who have given me their valuable feedback. I am reproducing my philosophy below by selecting those top...
