Carleton J. King, US Congressman from New York

Carleton James King (June 15, 1904 – November 19, 1977) was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from New York.


King was born in Saratoga Springs, New York. He graduated from Union College and Albany Law School in 1926. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity at Union. King was an assistant district attorney of Saratoga County, New York from 1942 until 1950 and district attorney from 1950 until 1961.
