FC Shakhtar-2 Donetsk

FC Shakhtar-2 Donetsk is a former Ukrainian football team based in Donetsk, Ukraine. The club used to feature regularly in the Ukrainian First Division, being a team from the Shakhtar Donetsk franchise. The club served as a training spot for young prospects, but under the management of new Shakhtar youth coaches, the club did not register to play in the Persha Liha for the 2006-07 season, and many of its regulars were cut. Shakhtar-2 role in the club system were replaced with Shakhtar Reserves team.
