We have never thought seriously about positive or negative inclination in speech, behavior, thoughts, and opinions which take place naturally in worldly interaction, have we? Highly revered Dadashri says that the whole world revolves around these three statements 1. Have a positive ego to be happy. 2. Negative ego is the cause of unhappiness and misery. 3. Become free from the false projection, ‘I am Chandulal—the ego,’ if you want liberation.The correct understanding regarding positive and negative is available in the divine speech of Dadashri. This allows one to remain in normality in time of expectation or disappointment, rise or fall, happiness or unhappiness in life; and attain true satisfaction, and make life worthwhile. Dadashri gives this scientific principle: ‘Adopt one principle in the life; always remain positive, never support negative. Whenever any negativity arises then remain silent.’ ...

The world is flawless. In spite of knowing this, why does it not come into our complete experience? In spite of attaining such a wonderful Gnan—Self-knowledge, what mistakes remain which prevent one from experiencing complete bliss and freedom in this very life? Absolutely revered Dadashri explains this that as long as one sees the faults of others, one is protecting one’s own subtle faults.Dadashri has explained beautifully about kinds of faults being committed by mahatmas like faulty vision, insistence, obstinacy, suspicion, attachment, my-ness (mamata), pride, ‘I-ness’ (potapanu), to act according to one’s own will and intellect (swachhand), persistent insistence (pakkad), making a deep intense mental note (nondha), ‘juice’ of doership (garvaras), point-man (the one who leads you astray), the desire to be worshipped (pujavani kamna), superiority, etc. These mistakes are detrimental in fulfilling a goal of attaining the final life in which final liberation will happen. ...

The Gnani Purush remains vitarag, does not have any likes or dislike in any task. The Gnani Purush is devoid of raag-dwesh—attachment-abhorrence. The Gnani Purush does not have anger-pride-deceit-greed. He is always in the here and the now. The past is gone, the future is under the control of vyavasthit—scientific circumstantial evidence; what is left is the present. That is why He is always in the tension free state. He has avagaadha pratiti absolute conviction of the Self. Attributes like forgiveness-humility-straightforwardness-satisfaction are natural to Him. The Gnani’s state is completely effortless state, He moves naturally with the unfolding of karma, He does not have potapanu 'I-ness' that is why He lives as Nature takes care of Him, He does not interfere, He is innocent like a child, you can see the state devoid of intellect-ego and weakness in Him. ...

The one who for infinite life times has been walking with the wrong vision, begins to take the right path through the right vision obtained through the grace of the Gnani Purush. After attaining Atmagnan—Self-realization, wrong gnan knowledge leaves and one attains right gnan knowledge. One realizes, ‘I am pure Soul,’ and ‘I am not Chandulal.’One has to bring about settlement of this discharge moha with equanimity by staying in the Agna of the Gnani Purush. After attaining the nirvikalp state - ‘I am Shuddhatma’, right or wrong karma will unfold through file number one-‘Chandulal’ because the prakruti the formed non-Self complex is unwinding. Just as our prakruti is unwinding similarly the other person’s prakruti also is unwinding. And these results of the non-Self are dependent on circumstances. Elemental vision shows only two things: the pure Soul and circumstances. Circumstance is neither wrong nor right. Wrong or right is relative view. ...

For Dadashri the revolutions of the mind are very high so miscommunications would arise in interacting with those with lesser revolutions in the worldly dealings. Thereafter he started installing a counter-pulley. The counter-pulley reduces the speed of thoughts and brings them down to the level of the speed of the thoughts of the other person and then the seeker easily understands the conversations. Dadashri gives the example that if you connect a high-speed engine with a pump of lesser revolutions then the pump will break down. To avoid this loss if you apply a counter-pulley to the engine and connect with the pump then the equivalent speed will make the pump function to its best capacity. If one applies these incontrovertible understanding in his life then he will not have any matabheda divisiveness due to difference in opinion, clashes and worldly interactions would become easy. ...

Chit (Subtle component of vision and knowledge in the inner functioning instrument called antahkaran) became impure due to ignorance (agnan— ignorance of the Self). Until the chit becomes pure how can one experience Atma—the Self? The solution to purify the chit is to have familiarity with the Gnani Purush. The Gnani Purush is the One who has experienced the Soul completely. He does not have a single parmanu (indivisible particle of an atom) of kashaya: anger-pride-deceit-greed, vishaya—sexual intent or predilection, mamatva—‘my-ness’ ahamkar— ego. It is a very rare opportunity to become familiar with such a Gnani Purush. One becomes familiar with ‘swa—the Self’ and experiences ‘I am Shuddhatma—pure Soul’.One has to follow the five Agnas and understand the Gnan as much as possible by staying close to the Gnani. Just as the Gnani’s introduction is necessary to attain the Gnan—Self-realization, it is also necessary to have the familiarity with satsang. ...

It is considered very difficult to practice brahmacharya (freedom from all sexual impulses through thoughts, speech and acts) in such a Kaal—current time cycle of Kaliyug, yet in this time, the absolutely revered Gnani Purush Dadashri Himself practiced brahmacharya and he has been able to give the right understanding about it to others and thus let them practice it without much difficulty. Dadashri has explained such steps to the married people that to bring about changes in conduct is an effect, a result, yet one can change the underlying understanding which will gradually bring changes in outer action. Dadashri assures with a guarantee that in this day and age sexual relation with only the spouse is considered brahmacharya. So then why should not the married people get the understanding according to Gnani’s vision and attain the goal of brahmacharya? ...

Gnanis and Tirthankara Lords saw the world as flawless, finished their worldly interactions, became free from the bondage of karma and thereafter they attained liberation. Akram Vignani Dadashri Himself too attained vitaragata—the absolute state of detachment, through this very path and He is telling all who want liberation to proceed along this path. In our daily worldly life interactions in the kashayas which are in the form of raag-dwesh – attachment-abhorrence arise; the root of insistence, opinion or faulty vision is there and because of this, experience of the bliss of the Self is obstructed. We have to resolve relative vyavahar worldly interaction, superfluously, dramatically, without hurting anybody, without creating interference with anybody, without creating clash with anybody by staying in the state of the Self. All that unfolds is temporary anyway and this inner vision is of the one who is permanent, the Self. ...

Liberation (moksha) is extremely easy however, it is extremely rare and thus difficult to meet a Gnani Purush who has the spiritual energy to liberate another human being.One can recognize the Gnani from His vitarag absolutely unattached, speech. There is no other mode or measure in this kaal—current era,how can an ordinary person identify such a Gnani who is the abode of infinite attributes? The Gnani has the dazzling majesty of the Sun God, the coolness of the Moon, the depth and serenity of the ocean, and stillness and steadfastness of the mountain of Meru.In the Gnani’s eyes flows an endless stream of the elixir of the eternal. There is a childlike innocence and guilelessness in the Gnani. He resides in the total egoless state. He remains constantly in the state of the Self (swaparinati) that is why He would have mukta haasya (the laughter of the liberated state). The Gnani Purush is beyond renunciation or acquisition. ...

The Gnani Purush is egoless, abuddha—without intellect that interferes and makes one become the worldly self. The interference of intellect has permanently ceased. He is the complete knower of the mind and its contents. The mind of the Gnani Purush is kshanvarti— lasts only a second, due to prevailing alertness of the awakened State, in which every thought is ‘seen’ as it arises. He never becomes absorbed in any situation of the mind. The Gnani is constantly in the nirvichar—‘seeing’ the thoughts by the second, state. The Gnani’s chit is completely and constantly subservient to Him which shows its effect as chitprasannata— spontaneous joyful state which leads to mukta hasya the laughter of the liberated state. It is because of our merit karma as well as great and good fortune that we have come to know this Gnani Purush. Through the satsang that happened with Him, we have come to know about the phenomenal level and wonder of His inner state too. ...

Normally this question confuses the traveler of the path of the moksha, that despite attending many religious discourses how come no meaningful result is attained in daily life. A person binds karma because of committing mistakes from overt to the subtlest level knowingly or unknowingly through the speech, action or deep inner intent in the life, so how can one become free from these karma effects? How can one remain detached from the effects of gross or subtle kashayas: anger-pride-deceit-greed? Dadashri says if one does pratikraman for an hour, with the pure awareness of the Self then he can experience being in the realm of the Self. Pratikraman is the great weapon given by the Lord. It is possible to win over the world and be victorious by non-violence. Our ardent prayer is that let us accomplish success on the path of liberation by destroying all the faults by following the understanding of principle of this wonderful science. ...

Gnani Purush Dadashri gives us a wonderful master key to become happy in the worldly life: ‘Carry out your worldly interaction with such awareness that no one gets hurt through your mind, speech and actions to the slightest extent.’ If someone gets hurt to the slightest extent then do pratikraman. And if you get hurt through someone else then apply the flawless vision towards that person. To practice flawless vision, these evidences are miraculous keys through which not only vyavahar worldly interaction will improve but along with this the path of moksha—ultimate liberation, will also become simple and easy. So let’s savor the taste of liberation by commencing the spiritual effort of practicing flawless vision by studying the proofs to see the world as flawless through the Gnani’s vision. ...

Kindness is an attribute of duality; unkindness exists where there is kindness. There is no telling when a follower of religion ends up having worldly interaction with unkindness. One who is trying to save a rat ends up being unkind to a cat. And here both karma, become the cause of binding new karma. Kindness, sympathy etc., are the attributes of paudgalik relative, the worldly self and bad attributes exist on the other side too. True religion is that which makes one free from the bondage of merit and demerit karma and helps you attain the state of the Self, moksha liberation. That is the only reason Dadashri says that while following religion transcend the attributes like kindness, empathy anukampa and finally reach to the state of compassion where after reaching this state the Vitarag Lords have brought about the salvation of many and have attained the final liberation. ...

Dadashri used to say that I am not the one who is speaking; it is the original taped record that speaks. The speech is not an attribute of the Self, but the coding of speech happens in the form of intent association through the prompt of the ego, and it expresses as evident sound from a subtle form due to fruition of karma. He used to say that this is the ‘observatory of the world’. That is why he gave the scientific solutions to hundreds of thousands of questions and that too without claiming ownerships of ‘I-ness’ or ‘my-ness’. These are the talks of the final destination. Even when others hurt him he will not wish them ill. Since one thinks about happiness of others only, karuna—compassion, begins and that karuna gradually increases, and finally places him in the state of A Gnani—the enlightened One. ...
