Vladimir Petrov Kostov is born in 1959 in Varna (Bulgaria). In 1990 he has defended a PhD thesis in mathematics at Moscow State University. Since 1991 he is working in France as a mathematician.

The four books of the author "The Rules of History", "Astro-Historical Promenade", "History and Planetary Influences" and "History and Its Rules" exhibit some rules according to which historical events take place (repetition of events according to the Chinese horoscope or the Lunar Nodes, correlation between names) and some rules concerning geography (e. g. the five spheres of direct geopolitical influence, the ones of Germany, Serbia, Iraq, China and Russia).
